Our Commitment
Online gaming, when done the right way, is an enjoyable form of entertainment — just like watching a movie or playing sports. Problems arise when boundaries are not set and gaming begins to affect a person's finances, relationships, or mental health.
Freeregister takes a proactive approach to responsible gaming. We do not wait for problems to occur before taking action. Instead, we provide self-control tools, clear information, and easily accessible support to all our players from day one.
We understand that every player is different. Some play once a week as casual entertainment, others more frequently. Whatever your playing pattern, the tools we provide help you stay in control — not as restrictions, but as support that you set yourself according to your own needs.
freeregister Core Principles: Gaming should be fun, within your financial means, and should never be a way to solve financial problems or life stress. If gaming starts to feel like an obligation or an escape, that is the moment to pause.
Play for fun, not to chase losses
Setting time and spending limits before you play
Stop playing when the limit is reached, without regret
Never play with money needed for daily essentials
Playing to "win back" money already lost
Hiding your gaming habits from family or friends
Feeling anxious or stressed when unable to play
Self-Control Tools
All of the following self-control tools can be activated directly from your account settings — no need to contact support, no delays.
Set daily, weekly, or monthly deposit limits to control how much you can add to your account. These limits take effect immediately and can be lowered at any time — but increasing a limit requires a 7-day waiting period.
Set a maximum loss limit for a given period. Once this limit is reached, you will no longer be able to place new bets until the limit period resets. This prevents you from continuing to play under emotional distress.
Set a maximum time limit for each gaming session. When the time is up, the system will automatically log you out of the session and display a session summary including total time played and transaction activity.
Take a break from the platform for 24 hours, 48 hours, or 7 days. During this period, you will not be able to log in or place any bets. This is especially useful when you notice yourself playing impulsively.
If you feel you need a longer break, activate self-exclusion for 1 month, 3 months, 6 months, or 1 year. While self-exclusion is active, your account will be fully blocked and cannot be reopened under any circumstances.
Enable pop-up notifications that remind you how long you have been playing and how much you have wagered in the current session. These reminders keep you aware without interrupting your gameplay.
How to Access the Self-Control Tools: Log in to your freeregister account → click the profile icon in the top right corner → select "Account Settings" → navigate to the "Responsible Gaming" section. All tools can be activated in under 2 minutes.
Limits & Settings
The right limits vary from person to person depending on income, commitments, and lifestyle. The following is a general guide based on internationally recognised responsible gaming principles — treat it as a starting point, not an absolute rule.
These guidelines are general suggestions only. The right limits for you may vary — set them according to your personal financial situation.
How to Set Limits
Log in to your freeregister account using your registered email and password. Make sure you are calm and clear-headed when setting your limits.
Navigate to Profile → Account Settings → Responsible Gaming. All self-control tools are available on a single, easy-to-understand page.
Select the type of limit you want to set — deposit, loss, session time, or a combination of all three. Enter a realistic value based on your financial capacity.
Confirm your limit setting. Limits that reduce your existing limit take effect immediately. Increasing a limit requires a 7-day waiting period as an added safeguard.
Warning Signs
Recognising the early signs is the single most important first step. The sooner you become aware, the easier it is to take the right action.
Borrowing from family, friends, or using a credit card to fund your betting is a very serious warning sign.
If you find yourself using rent money, bill payments, or grocery funds to play, this is a clear sign that gaming has become a serious problem.
Continuing to play in hopes of "winning back" money already lost is the most dangerous pattern in problem gambling.
The need to continuously increase your betting amount to achieve the same level of excitement is a sign of dangerous tolerance.
Lying or hiding your playing habits from your partner, family, or friends is a sign that you yourself sense something is wrong.
If you feel stressed, anxious, or irritable when you are unable to play, or after a loss, these may be signs of problem gambling.
Missing work, neglecting family, or withdrawing from social activities in favour of gaming is a sign that should be taken seriously.
Repeatedly trying to stop or cut down on playing but failing — even when you know it is affecting your life — is a sign of addiction that requires help.
If you recognise yourself in any of the signs above: Do not wait any longer. Contact the freeregister support team now to activate self-exclusion, or seek help from a professional. Asking for help is a sign of strength, not weakness.
Self-Assessment
Answer the following questions honestly. This is not a formal test — it is simply a self-reflection tool to help you assess your relationship with gaming. There are no "right" or "wrong" answers — only your honesty with yourself matters.
Freeregister's Commitment
Responsible gaming is not only the player's responsibility — it is a shared commitment between the player and the platform. Here is freeregister's active commitment:
We use algorithms that monitor playing patterns and identify behavioural changes that may indicate a problem — long before the player is aware of it themselves.
We have a support team specially trained in responsible gaming issues, ready to assist you with full empathy and without any judgement.
When our system detects concerning patterns, we proactively reach out with alert messages and offers of support — rather than waiting for problems to escalate.
Players who have activated limits, are on a break, or show signs of at-risk behaviour will not receive any marketing communications or bonus offers from freeregister.
Child Protection
Freeregister has a zero-tolerance policy on access by anyone under 18 years of age. All players are required to verify their age through a strict KYC process. We also recognise that technical measures alone are not enough — parents and guardians play a vital role.
If you are a parent or guardian, here are some practical steps you can take to protect your children:
Do not save your freeregister account password on shared devices. Use a strong password and enable 2FA for added security.
Install parental control software on all devices used by children to block access to online gambling websites.
If you believe your child has registered an account, contact freeregister support immediately. We will investigate and close the account promptly.
Talk to your children about the risks of gambling in an age-appropriate way. Education is the best long-term protection.
